Syotai-Biyori Terms of Service

Before using Syotai-Biyori Services please carefully read this information relating to your use of Syotai-Biyori membership privileges. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms and policies.

Period of Use of Syotai-Biyori Services

A period・・・From the 1st of April to the 30th of September of each year
B period・・・From the 1st of October to the 31st of March of each year
Members are limited to one complimentary meal per restaurant every 6 months (during the A or B periods).

Who can use Syotai-Biyori

Complimentary services are intended for groups that include at least one Syotai-Biyori member: an individual member or a corporate member.
※Complimentary services only cover one person’s meal even if two or more members dine together. In cases where a group plan is used, two meals will be free of charge. Please see details below.

Syotai-Biyori Services

  • (1) Standard Plan
    A Syotai-Biyori restaurant service is a special complimentary service that provides members with limited-time offers to receive one meal free of charge when they make reservations for a party of two or more and order from the prix-fixe menu at select restaurants.
    ※The promotion is limited for Prix-fixe meals specified on the information section of respective restaurant on our website. Even for a large group an alternative menu cannot be chosen. (SOME restaurants provide a la carte or children's menus choices for children, please contact us for more details,)
    ※Prix-fixe meals DO NOT include charges for drinks or additional side dishes. Please pay for these separately.
  • (2) Group Plan
    A Group Plan is a special complimentary service that provides members with a limited-time offer to receive two meals free of charge when they make reservations for a party of six or more and order the same prix-fixe menu at some restaurants.
    ※The service entitles Syotai-Biyori members to one complimentary meal at each restaurant during each six month period (April ~ September or October ~ March), and you can use both the Group Plan and the Standard Plan at the same restaurant during one specified period.
    ※The Group Plan is intended only for groups of six or more. If the member changes or cancels a reservation and the number of people in the group became 5 or less, only one meal will be served free of charge.
    ※Please note that some of the selected restaurants provide two free meals only for groups of 8 or more people.
  • (3) Repeater Plan
    The Standard Plan can be used a total of once per restaurant during a specified period. However, if you want to visit the same venue more than once during one 6 month period, please use the Repeater Plan, which is available for SOME restaurants. The Repeater Plan offers special benefits for Syotai-Biyori members such as discounts or welcome drinks.

Syotai-Biyori Restaurant Service Policy

(1)
Please contact us at least 3 business days prior to the date you wish to make a reservation or with any changes to your reservation. Please Note: requests sent after 19:00 will be proceeded on the following working day.
(2)
Please note: if you make reservation directly to a restaurant, NO complimentary meal will be provided. Make sure to book though the Syotai-Biyori desk or via our online reservation form.
(3)
If you change or cancel your reservation or fail to arrive at the restaurant on the date of the reservation, you may be subject to a cancellation fee determined according to each restaurant’s respective policy.
(4)
This complimentary service is for parties of two or more. (It may not be used for a party of one.)
(5)
We are unable to accommodate table-only reservations.
(6)
This complimentary service is good for one customer per reservation. The complimentary service only covers one person’s meal even if two or more members dine together. Only for the Group Plan reservations two meals will be free of charge.
(7)
If you will request to seat on the same table with the other members, who made a one or more separate reservation via Syotai-Biyori service, you will receive one meal free of charge. Only one meal free of charge is provided for one table.
(8)
Age restrictions, private room’s charges, dress code, etc. can vary depending on a restaurant.
(9)
Please note that we may not be able to satisfy your wishes depending on restaurant availability. For some restaurant the promotion is limited for one group a day.
(10)
The complimentary service generally applies to dinner. However, some restaurants will honor the service during lunchtime. Please check each restaurant’s information section for details.
(11)
The service is not available on certain dates for some restaurants (e.g., during fairs, at Christmas time, on Year-end and New Year’s holidays, etc.). Please check each restaurant’s information section for details.

Prices found on this website do not include taxes or service charges. Please note that service charges vary from restaurant to restaurant; for some restaurants, an additional service charge, a table charge, or a private room fee, etc. may be charged separately. Goods and Service Tax (8% in Japan) will be charged separately as well.

Complimentary Prix-fixe meals DO NOT include charges for drinks or additional side dishes. Please pay for these separately.

Accepted credit cards can vary depending on a restaurant.

This complimentary service may not be used in conjunction with other complimentary services.
(18)
To change or cancel Sunday’s or public holiday’s reservations please contact us by 19:00 on Friday the previous week. Please Note: Requests sent after 19:00 on Friday will be proceeded on the following working day. You may be subject to a cancellation fee determined according to each restaurant’s respective policy.
(19)
If you change or cancel your reservation, change number of people less than 3 days in advance, or fail to arrive at the restaurant on the date of the reservation, you may be subject to a cancellation fee determined according to each restaurant’s respective policy. Please check your reservation confirmation email for details.
※For some restaurant you may be a subject to a cancellation fee if you make any changes less than 4 days in advance.
(20)
We may suspend or stop providing our Services to any member for no-shows, for non-payment of cancellation fees, etc. or if we are investigating suspected misconduct of our terms and polices.
(21)
Please contact us 7 business days before the desired date to reserve a restaurant in Singapore or Hawaii, as it take time to proceed a reservation request due to time difference, holidays etc.
(22)
In Singapore prices, marked as "++", are subject to 10% service charge and 7% prevailing government taxes.
(23)
Please remember to add 15% - 22% tip when you pay at Hawaiian restaurant. Kindly check each restaurant’s information section for details.
(24)
Sales tax in Hawaii is 4.712% on Oahu (where an additional 0.546% "County Tax" is added) and 4.166% on the other island.
(25)
When you make a reservation for restaurants outside Japan, a restaurant might contact you directly to reconfirm the reservation or for other urgent matters. We will provide your personal information (your name, local contact phone number and accommodation) to the restaurant for the purposes described above.
※If you provide a Japanese mobile number as your local contact, please be aware that you will have to pay incoming call charges while on international roaming.

Syotai-Biyori Hotel Services Policy

Syotai-Biyori Hotel Services provides members with limited-time offers to receive a special price for one of the select hotel rooms.

Please contact us at least 3 business days prior to the date you wish to make a reservation or with any changes to your reservation. Please Note: requests sent after 19:00 will be proceeded on the following working day.
(2)
This complimentary service is for parties of 2 people. If you wish to make a reservation for 3 or more people, an extra bed or crib can be requested; note that an extra bed charge can be charged separately. Please contact us for more details. (For some hotels, only single rooms are available.)
(3)
This complimentary service is for one room per reservation.
(4)
Please note that we may not be able to satisfy your wishes depending on room availability.
(5)
Complimentary services are not available on certain dates for some hotels (e.g., during fairs, at Christmas time, on Year-end and New Year’s holidays, etc.).
